Day care program

Little Learners partners with I’m for Kids so we can support your child’s diverse and changing needs. We offer Fall and Spring Screening to see if your child requires any extra support meeting their Developmental Needs. Our partnership with I’m for Kids opens up access to a multitude of services for you as a family and your child.

• Children attending community preschools/daycare and may receive additional programming in addition to scheduled preschool sessions.
• Each child is assigned a Program Support Assistant (PSA).
• An Education Coordinator (EC) who is a certificated teacher is assigned to each child and will be responsible for overseeing the child’s programming focusing on early academic skills.
• An Instructional Team (EC, Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Occupational Therapist (OT), Behaviour Specialist, PSA) is assigned to each child/ family based on a child’s identified needs.
• Parents are active participants in program design and are integral members of the Team.
• Parents attend all three Individualized Program Plan (IPP) meetings. A child’s Preschool/Daycare Teacher is invited to attend and participate in the program plan.
